Saturday, 26 September 2009 Result:

Group A
Melaka 0-2 Perlis (FT)A Fakri Sharani
Pahang 1-1 PLUS FC (FT)Abd Rahman, Lot Abu Hassan
Perlis met the expectation as favourite team in Group A. KL Plus, despite was strengthen by T Team hotshot, Haris Safwan could not secure a win against Pahang.

Group B
Sarawak 0-1 Terengganu (FT)
Johor 1-2 Negri Sembilan (FT)Zaquan Adha
Team in financial difficulties, Sarawak lost to the Turtle in Kuching whereas Negeri Sembilan returned to Paroi with 3 points in hand, thanks to double strikes from Zaquan Adha. Local newspaper reported that he has gained more confidence to score the goal is a good indication ahead of Sea Games.

Group C
Kuala Lumpur 0-1 Johor FC (Farid Idris 45mins) (FT)
MyTeam 0-1 Perak (Razali Umar 65mins) (FT)
Nor Shahrul vs Razali Umar and the latter turn out as winner. Hopefully Razali is included in the list of players heading to Sea Games. He is skillful player and good at finishing.

Group D
Sabah 0-1 Selangor (FT)
PDRM 1-0 Kuala Muda NAZA (FT)
Safee Sali has silenced the 10,000 Sabahans to bring full points back to S Alam. The decision to shift the venue from K Kinabalu to Tawau paid the Sabah FA handsomely when 10,000 locals turn out to support the team. Zainizam Marjan & Co has put the MSL champion in hard time before able to win with slim margin. PDRM also did something rare by edging KM Naza, team comprise a lot of experienced players like Akmal Rizal, Manzoor Azwira, Azizon Kadir etc.

Group E
Kedah (Faizal Abu Bakar 7mins) 1-1 ATM (Chandrasekar 78mins) (FT)
Pulau Pinang 1-2 Kelantan (FT) Thinagaran, Indra, Khalid Jamlus
Without Kyril Muhymin, Kedah are completely toothless and the Azrul Ahmad is not the best answer for replacement..He has been provided with several chances but fail to convert it into the goals..Travel to east this Tuesday for meeting with Kelantan will add more headache to Azrai Khor though for record, they beat them at Kota Bharu in MSL. Penang started well in first half but lack of experience denies them from flying high. Kelantan under new coach, B Sathianathan will return to Kota Bharu, awaiting the Kedah for next game.
