Male’, MALDIVES – Maldives national team is confirmed to play a friendly against Malaysia senior football team on 26th of this month. According to vice president of FAM, (Hiyalee) Mohamed Rasheed the friendly match and other facilities are arranged by the football association of Malaysia after a phone conversation between the FAM president Ali Azim and Malaysia Football Association’s president.
“All the cost, including accommodation and other transportation will be provided by the Football Association of Malaysia” Hiyalee said.
“This is confirmed after a phone conversation between FAM president Ali Azim and Malaysia Football Association President”
Hiyalee noted that Maldives will play against Malaysia senior team on 26th of November and three days later another friendly will be played against their under 21 team.
Maldives team returned today after a 10 day camp in Bahrain where Bahrain Football Association provided all the facilities.
Maldives will travel to Dhaka on 1st December from Kuala Lumpur.
